IG's fixed in this new version, App runs great.

This is NOT a temporary problem! 2 months later and STILL the most important query sources fail. Time to delete. Older... Query Instagram...Failed. Query YouTube...Failed. Without these two working the app is useless. Really, who even uses Picasso anymore?

Haven't used it for much but there is a lot of potential

I use this app all the time to find stuff. It will give a selection of local stuff, but we can also do our own searches to find things we're looking for, and they immediately appear. Great!

Handy way to find different kinds of neighborhood info. Would be nice if you could see location-tagged tweets on the map.

This is one of the few apps I use on an almost daily basis. Wherever I am, whatever I'm looking for, I can quickly and easily find it.

An app that lets you surf the Earth & see what humans are up to? Very cool

I liked this app until I realized it was rapidly draining my battery by keeping location services on. I will keep the app for a while, with location services off, and see if the developer fixes it.

The app is great and helps me with my career, but with this recent update the only options are for location tracking to always be on, or never on. I will not be happy until they restore the "while using the app" option.

But I would have to agree it's extremely limited search is hindering its potential.

The app is good but shows really bad on iPhone 6 also will be good an apple watch version.

Only 2 items shown when searching. Requires location services even when app isn't being used. Keeps flooding screen with info from unfamiliar sources even when those have been turned off. Feels intrusive with cluttered graphics.

A fixture on my home screen and an integral part of my daily routine. Simply put, I practically cannot function without it. I would have given five stars if it were updated more frequently.

This app doesn't work like it use to. It is now easier to use any other app to find what you're looking for.

I agree with the other reviewer who said it used to be great. For some reason now it hardly pulls up any results and if it does they are not useful. I can literally be next to a Mexican restaurant and search "Mexican restaurant" in Localscope and it won't find it. If that's fixed I would start using it again. When it works it's awesome

Was a fantastic application that I used often both locally and on the road. Comparing it to the Yellow Pages was excellent but with the ability to add contact information from your search results or navigate via the IOS map application or tom-tom integration. Now finding places is spotty at best and I rarely use.

This little app has a simple design, making it a stupid easy to use. I love how you just open it and the app immediately goes to work. This app has become a mainstay on all my iOS devices.

Don't waste your money or time

This is a great app and it caters to those who travel or occasionally leave their comfort zone... This pools together multiple information sources and displays them in one screen. This is a must have app...

If you do a lot of traveling to unfamiliar cities, this could help you find interesting attractions. Personally, I'm looking for summer festivals coming up and I can find nothing about that in this app. The Twitter results just show people tweeting about normal things, not about anything relating to the local area. The interface also needs improvement. The map view can be zoomed but cannot be panned or scrolled. The pushpin view shows a lot of unlabeled pushpins. Tap on one, and the view rotates while it zooms, which looks cute but causes you to lose your place.

It's a beautifull and impresive app. Great design and very used.

This seems more like an aggregate solution for major social apps than a tool for locating local events and gathering spots. You get lucky if someone happens to be at an event you want. Cybernettr, the app I’ve found closest to what we want is called CalendApp. It’s not been updated in over a year but it still works relative to the amount of input it gets. Their Facebook page states something big is coming…but that was announced in Nov 2013! Still, it’s worth a try.

I really don't know how this app used to be, but now it's simple, clean and gave me great suggestions.

Absolute "DUD".......don't waste your time!

I used to be able to search by name. I don't even know how it is supposed to work and can't find anything.

This app used to be AMAZING. I used it all the time to fine places near me. Now it's user interface and functionality are terrible

What happened? This easy to use and extremely useful app has turned into a mess of confusion and uselessness. What a shame. From 5 stars to 1 overnight.

Reasonable app.

It used to be an excellent and fun app. Now it just got simply so annoying to use. Every few minutes it forces you to calibrate, which requires waving your device for at least good 10-20 sec. Please fix!!!

This is One of The best social Apps.

if you use a navigation app localscope is a must have app.You can directly enter the name of your destination and localscope do the rest ;)
